Troncyl-C is active against all developmetal stages of nematodes and tapeworms resident in cats: Тохосаrа cati, Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Ancylostoma braziliense, Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Mesocestoides spp., Joyeuxiella sp. The active ingredients of Troncyl-C suppress enzymatic activity, increase membrane permeability for mono- and divalent cations and carbohydrates, disrupt the tunica and disturb muscle contraction, thus causing paralysis and death of the helmintes, which are eliminated with faeces.
Troncyl-C has a low toxicity in mammals, possesses no sensibilising, embryotoxic or teratogenic properties and is safe at the therapeutic doses

Troncyl-C is administered to dogs aged 3 weeks upwards for protection against ascarids and other nematodes, tapeworms and whipworms at the following doses:

No special diet should be observed before treatment. The product is administered by force feeding or in feed. For prophylaxis, the product is administered every 3 months at the treatment dose.
No side effects or complications have been recorded for Troncyl-C at the doses recommended.
