Polyvalent immunoglobulin against distemper, parvovirus and coronavirus enteritis and adenovirus infections in dogs Globcan-5

Globcan-5 contains highly purified globulins isolated from hyperimmune serum and is used for the prevention and treatment of distemper, adenovirus infections, parvovirus and coronavirus enteritis in dogs. The product is a transparent colourless slightly opalescent liquid. Precipitate may sometimes form upon storage and should break easily if shaken. The commercial dose is 2,0 cm³.

The product is administered percutaneously or intramuscularly.

The therapeutic effect is most pronounced at the early stage of the illness.

The product is administered at the dose of 2,0 cm³ to animals weighing less than 5 kg and at the dose of 4,0 cm³ to animals weighing more than 5 kg.

For therapeutic purposes, Globcan-5 is administered at the indicated doses 1 to 3 times at 12- to 24-hour intervals depending on severity.

Immunity lasts two weeks. After the expiry of this period, animals should be vaccinated to produce active immunity.

The immunoglobulin is available in 2 cm³ vials (1 dose).

24 months if kept in a dark dry place at a temperature between 2 and 10°C.
