Inactivated combined vaccine against infectious rhinotrachaeitis, parainfluenza 3, viral diarrhea, respiratory syncytial visrus, rota - and coronavirus infections in calves (COMBOVAC)

Description:

The vaccine is a pale red liquid containing white spongy precipitate that should suspend easily upon shaking.

Indications for use:

Combovac is used for immunization of calves, heifers and cows in farm units affected by gastrointestinal and respiratory diseases. All clinically healthy animals should be subject to vaccination.

Vaccination method:

The vaccine is administered percutaneously in the neck region at the dose of 2 cm3 to cows and at the dose of 1 cm3S to calves.

Cows and heifers are vaccinated twice, 4 weeks and 1 week before insemination, and revaccinated 40 to 45 days before calving and 2 to 3 weeks before calving.

Calves are vaccinated at the age of 30 to 40 days twice at an interval of 20 to 25 days.

All other animals aged 4 months and upwards are vaccinated twice via percutaneous route at the dose of 2 cm3 at an interval of 3 to 4 weeks.

Immunity:

Immunity develops 14 days after revaccination and lasts at least 6 months. Immunity is transferred from in-calf cows to offspring with milk and colostrum.

Formulation:

The vaccine is available in 10 cm3 (5 doses) and 100 cm3 (50 doses) vials.

Shelf life:

18 months if kept in a dark dry place at a temperature between 2 and 8°С.
