Polyvalent serum against canine distemper, adenovirus infections and parvovirus and coronavirus enteritis in dogs Hiscan-5

Hyperimmune serum Hiscan-5 is used for the prevention and treatment of canine distemper, adenovirus infections, parvovirus and coronavirus enteritis in dogs.

Hiscan-5 is a transparent brown or yellowish brown liquid. Precipitate may form upon storage and should suspend easily upon shaking. The commercial dose is 2,0 cm³.

The product is administered percutaneously or intramuscularly at the dose of 1 cm³ to animals weighing less than 5 kg and at the dose of 2 cm³ to animals weighing more than 5 kg. For therapeutic purposes, Hiscan-5 is administered at the same dose 1 to 3 times at 12- to 24-hour intervals depending on severity.

Immunity lasts 2 weeks. After 2 weeks animals should be subject to revaccination.

The vaccine is available in vials (2 cm³/1 dose).

24 months if kept in a dark dry place at a temperature between 2 and 10°C.
