The vaccine is a straw yellow liquid with grayish white spongy precipitate at the bottom that suspends easily upon shaking. The vaccine contains concentrated formaldehyde-inactivated cell cultures of salmonellae (S. сholeraesuis, S. typhimurium), pasteurellae (serovars A, B, D) and streptococci (serogroups С and R) and is adsorbed on aluminum oxide. |

The vaccine is used for prophylactic immunization of piglets and sows in affected farm units. |
| Vaccination method: |
Specific prophylaxis of salmonellosis in piglets should begin with the immunization of sows. |
| The vaccine is administered intramuscularly behind the ear in accordance with aseptic and antiseptic rules twice at a 10- to 12-day interval 1,5 to 2 months before farrowing at the following doses: |
- 5 cm3 to Sow weighing less than 100 kg;
- 7-8 cm3 to Sow weighing less than 150 kg;
- 10 cm3 to Sow weighing more than 150 kg.
Piglets from unimmunized sows are primarily vaccinated at the age of 12 to 15 days and revaccinated after 8 to 10 days at the dose of 2 cm3; piglets from immunized sows are primarily vaccinated at the age of 25 to 28 days and revaccinated at the age of 33 to 38 days at the dose of, correspondingly, 2 and 3 cm3.
Revaccination is carried out at the age of 90 to 100 days at the dose of 4 cm3.

Immunity develops within 10 to 12 days after second immunization and lasts 5 months. |
