Kit of vaccines against transmissive gastroenteritis and rotavirus disease in Swine (ТR-1)

Description:

The kit against transmissive gastroenteritis (TGE) and rotavirus disease (RVD) in Swine consists of two vaccines: live dry vaccine against TGE and emulagated vaccine against TGE and RVD, prepared from non-virulent strains of porcine TGE virus and porcine rotavirus grown in a cell culture.

Indications for use:

The kit of vaccines is used for prophylactic immunization of clinically healthy Sow and piglets.

Vaccination method:

First-farrow Sow should be vaccinated with the emulgated vaccine 1 to 2 weeks before insemination and later with both live and emulgated vaccines 70 to 75 days after farrowing along with sows.

Sow should only be revaccinated with the emulgated vaccine 90 to 95 days after farrowing.

The live dry vaccine is diluted 1:10 with sterile physiological solution and administered intranasally at the dose of 3,0 cm3. The emulgated vaccine is administered intramuscularly at the dose of 2 cm3. Boar breeders are vaccinated with the emulgated vaccine at the dose of 2,0 cm3 intramuscularly and revaccinated after 6 months. The commercial dose for the vaccines is 2 cm3.

Immunity:

Immunity develops within 10 to 15 days after revaccination; it is maintained in the farrow during the suckling period and lasts 6 months in adult animals.

Formulation:

The live dry vaccine is available in 1 cm3 vials (5 doses), and the emulgated vaccine is available in 100 cm3 (50 doses).

Shelf life:

12 months if kept in a dark dry place at a temperature between 2 and 8°С.
